Don't bet on that "somewhere in the product name", as the marketeers 
have co-opted that approach.  There are now a number of Ethernet 
switches around with some variation of GbE in the product name, and 
these switches can have one or two GbE ports, or a GbE uplink port, or 
a GbE-compatible SFP extra-cost add-on option, or some combination of 
these, and with the rest of the jack-holes on the box maxing out at 100 
MbE.  Though if you're faced with one and perversely inclined, then IT 
gets the GbE port and the riff-raff get the slow-holes.
