Going to post this, as I've always found setting up a terminal server to
be a cross between easy and arcaine. If you already know all this, then
just ignore the post.

To get to the terminal server, use the NCP utility,

MCR NTP

NTP>

To access the terminal server, you can specify the server name or
physical address in the CONNECT command (I'm skipping steps here, such
as making the terminal server a known node).

NCP>connect node srvr3
Console connected (press CTRL/D when finished)

#

When you enter a <CR> you'll get the # prompt. This expects a password
to get into the terminal server. I always forget. The default is "ACCESS".

Network Access SW V2.2 for DS90M (BL29-52)

Please type HELP if you need assistance

Enter username> dfe

Local>

Note, the "Local>" prompt can be changes, so if you see something else,
that's what has happened.

Some commands are only available to priviledged users, including the
HELP for those commands, I believe. The HELP available will assist you.

To gain privs, type "SET PRIV". It will ask for a password. The
default is "SYSTEM".

What you're looking for is "PREFERRED SERVICE". This should get you
started.
