I got PuTTY working here.  Some issues with fonts in the font path caused
it some pain.

Anyway, it fails VTTEST miserably on the very first test.  You can see for
yourself if you have VTTEST ('twas available on the freeware CDs and can be
had from the DECUSlib.com site) or you could telnet to twenty-four dot one-
hundred eighty-seven dot two-hundred thirteen dot twenty-eight (also known
as the 'great-escape' in my domain).  Login using username 'VTTEST' and you
can run through the VTTEST suit test.
