My system has a faster and more recent CPU, four times the amount of
memory, a faster HD and cost about half of the most expensive one,
the Mac Mini Server (from what I just saw in the pricing on the Apple
site).
So, it also depends on the size of your wallet...

The zx2000 is a nice system, but it's hard to come by and the few
who have them seem to be firmly holding on to them.

I already wrote about Gabe Newell (of Valve) and his desires, but
it hasn't exactly materialized yet, now has it? Whatever is there,
is barely comparable with what the mainstream Windows-based Steam
has to offer. Besides, it's not (entirely) up to Valve either,
except for their own titles. But, apart from stripped-down
"server" versions of certain 'multiplayer' games, there doesn't
seem to be much available yet.

It's apparently OS X only.

The issues have arrived from the fact that Adobe, already ten years
ago, didn't know what else to add to their products and primarily
Photoshop; it works fine, it performed well, it's stable, but they
ran out of excuses to release new versions more frequently.
That's when the "CS"-version system was introduced, which gave them
a good excuse. Apart from changes in icons and other trademarks,
only a handful of new tools (some useful, some barely) and mostly
GUI overhauls over the years... Some versions I flat-out ignored
and avoided, as they were extremely sluggish and some very bug-
ridden/unstable.
