Yep.  Many of the folks using desktops and laptops are migrating to 
tablets and phones, a number of folks are using a combination of one or 
more mobile devices and an x86 laptop and/or a desktop.

Desktop sales have been dropping for a while, and desktops are a 
smaller part of the aggregate client market; of smartphones and tablets 
and laptops.

A smaller part of a market that's tripling in size.

IIRC, Android unit volumes are around as large as those of x86, and iOS 
will likely reach similar volumes sometime this year.

The total number of mobile devices is absolutely exploding...  That 
explosion of clients is having an effect on the server-side software 
and hardware requirements, on networking, and related gear, too.

The two largest-selling operating systems on mobile devices — iOS and 
Android — are both Unix-based.
