[Info-vax] backup /image on Windows or Unix?

Don't know if I ma qualified to answer that. It's in fsck so you can
always look at the sources if it really matters to you. I only know
that years ago (when I was still active in USENIX and my employer was
actually willing to pay for me to go to conferences) I listened to talks
by people like Kirk McKusick explaining how fragmentation was handled
in the file system so defraging just wasn't needed. Probably explains
why there have never been any third-part defrag programs for Unix (at
least none I have ever seen), no market. :-)
