Unfortunately that means those systems could easily become a victim of
someone wanting to rationalise server room costs. The reason we lost
our news server a decade or so ago was that someone came up with a
yearly cost for that system, which probably consisted of power, server
room floor space and whatever someone put on their time sheets for
making sure it didn't fall over. Nobody wanted those costs on their
budget, so the plug was pulled.
