I am not familiar with IBM MQ, and I can only find the thread here from 
last July.

First thing to check is if you are linking the correct shared image 
based on the pointer size of your Cobol compilation.  Note that I am 
also not a Cobol programmer.

You can also try a larger stack size at link time.
