I'll try a quick fix, but if that doesn't work I'll have to get some 
replacement working.  Now that the main cluster has warm spares, time to 
set those up for the satellites.  I have a DS10 which works but has a 
bad fan and overheats.  Another one doesn't have the proper cards.  
Another one doesn't produce any console output.  So, I'll have to juggle 
around and see if I can get 2 or at least 1 working machine out of 
those.  (I could set up a spare from the main cluster, but I would 
rather keep them as spares for the main cluster.)

What other ALPHAs would have memory compatible with the ALPHAstation 
500/500?  288 is a bit low anyway.  (Opening a second window in Mozilla, 
e.g. for viewing the page source, hangs the machine; I suspect this is 
due to too little memory, though I would have hoped that it would just 
be slow, rather than sending the DECwindows server into a loop.)
