Feel free to try.
I can confirm that HP still have a controlling interest in the software.
However, I'm not sure even HP knows this itself. But the papers exist,
and thus the PDP-11 software cannot just be released without the
possibility of legal problems.
And yes, it is owned by XX2247 now.
(I have spoken with Dave about this in the past.)
