Specs for wow and flutter, frequency response, distortion, mechanical
and electrical stability and longevity. You name it, they are the
swiss watch of analog sound tape recorders. Still worth a small
fortune to collectors and users even now.

(Previous life in pro audio in the 1970's, before I became addicted
to computing :-)...
