It was bone. Had what I remember was a "large" monitor - but back then
that probably meant 14"-16". <g>
Racking my poor brain for more details. Surprised I remember so
little, as the contract itself was a major milestone for me, my first
long-term serious money project. I sat in that cold room bundled with
watch cap, scarf, and parka staring at that thing for 6-months. <g>
I was a C/UNIX programmer meeting VMS for the first time, and
engineers armed with HP calculator with prototype programs.
Someone in management decided it had to be written in C. The VMS
programmers would barely speak to me. A flow lines monitoring project
in a processing plant - had a devil of a time trying to convince them
that catching 0.00005 of a barrel was probably not worth doing. <g>
