Ok, that comment made me go and look :-) as I have not done anything with
V5.7 yet.

I see what you mean. Not only is it badly written, it appears to contain
conflicting information. It says you can use a tool to do the conversion
and then goes on to say the SMTP startup procedure does the conversion
automatically.
