If you can't convince Oracle that your project to make an open source
VMS on x86 is viable, you can't convince any VMS customers your project
is worthy of being taken seriously.


If Oracle comes on-board and supports you, not only do you get Oracle to
port its RBD to your new VMS, but that gives your project huge credibility.
