Ahh, how convenient it is to exagerate to make a statement look like a
conspiracy theory.

Stating that a project to evaluate feasability and cost of porting VMS
to x86, after which a formal project was never started   is not the same
as your stating a port was done and buried.

Testing feasability might have involved some test code (or not). It
might have gone as far as a preliminary boot (or not). But even if it
did, it doesn't make an OS ported. Anything beyond what was necessary to
answer a question from top management "can it be done, and if so, how
many man hours required" would have been beyond the scope of the request.

But since your goal is to make me look like a kook instead of having a
constructive conversation, you have to stretch things to make me look
like a fool.
