No, I kow exactly what it is.

Didn't say it did.  Did say that may it should be.

What is the point of porting open source code to VMS if VMS is just
going to die?  What I said was that your particular group has the
needed expertise and one wold hope the desire to see VMS survive that
they might make a good core group for writting the needed VMS
abstraction layer.
