I believe this is coming from a newsgroup mirror at compgroups.net which
allows posting.

This is the first entry I found after searching for comp.os.vms, from
2005

Trying to post a reply asks you to sign in or register.  Registering
claims to have sent you a login email, but nothing has appeared here.

One spam from China already received on the address I used.  Maybe a
coincidence, maybe not.

Curiously the site now seems to be giving me up to date posts, even
after clearing cookies.
