While there are still a couple of staffers in VMS engineering, perhaps
HP should be prodded to make Alpha equal to IA64 in terms of such
software packages.

And if, due to emulator available for ALpha but not IA64, Alpha binaries
ends up having longer lifetime than IA64, HP should be told to review
its support policies to extend Alpha VMS support beyond that of IA64.
