You mean connection-oriented, stateful, context-rich application like 
those facilitated through Tier3 that I've offered the VMS community for 
almost 20 years?

If you look at what the browsers are now doing with privileged web-apps 
(have to be installed) you'll see that they are now offering some form 
of full BSD functionality.

Yep VMS had it then but you guys were too busy spitting in my face :-(
