OK. So when I lose something, I can blame a bug in the Simulator code! Obviously
those who run the Simulator have to continually apply hot patches 
on the fly (redundant?), which then returns the item to visibility. Hmmm. Sounds
a little like the movie _The Adjustment Bureau_! Movie review: Gets repetitive and tiresome after a while. Anh, maybe 2 stars out of 5.


On a more serious note, I think a science write was desperate for some material.
