[Info-vax] Configured shadowing, neglected to update satellite.. Can't figure out how to fix.

It has to be set to 1.

Think about it.  There wouldn't be a separate parameter if SHADOWING 
would be enough.  The system disk is mounted very early in the startup 
sequence, before the other shadowing software is loaded, presumably.

What is your BOOTDEF_DEV?  Put in both members of the system-disk shadow 
set, so that it will boot as long as at least one is available.
