[Info-vax] Rethinking DECNET ?

Nobody said it was.  Encryption is provided at a higher layer, where
it belongs.  There is no reason why the same can't be done with DECNET.
As a matter of fact, even though I have never looked at it and have no 
intention to, I can think of no technical reason why a version of SSL
could not be done using DECNET to provide the lower levels of the protocol.
