Fortran is not used for system programming on VMS. It's an
application-programming language.

C, Bliss and Macro32 assembler are most commonly used for system-level
programming on VMS.

VMS is not Unix. Knowledge of Unix means little on VMS. Assumptions
of Unix lead to confusion and frustration.

Not at all difficult to find, via http://www.bookfinder.com/

Knowledge of Pascal from VAX from twenty years ago isn't particularly
relevant to modern VMS, either.

Parts are certainly applicable and old applications will still work,
but that book will lack information on what's happened on the two
architectures that are after VAX, there'll be nothing on the migration
to 64 bits, nor on the APIs and tools that have been added to VMS or on
the parts that have changed since then.
