And BTW, at the rate things are going, if you want to run some Linux
originated software on VMS, you are going to need to emulate the
systemd interfaces. :-(

My position in the systemd saga BTW is: nice idea, lousy implementation.
My major problem with it is the monolithic mass of code to replace
existing functionality. If it was a modular design and was designed to
be portable across operating systems, then I would have far less
problems with it.

The other major concern is all that new code is also going to bring
along all new nice shiny attack vectors with it.
