Well, if you're looking to pick some up off the street corner, it might 
be tough.

My limited experience is that there are similarities between MACRO-10, 
MACRO-11, and MACRO-32, and if you are decent in one, can become decent 
in the others.

I'd think that knowing the application would be as important, or more 
important, than being able to code in assembler.

I'd also wonder whether everything would be required to be done in 
assembler.  But then, I wouldn't know, because then I'd be in the same 
universe with the dreaded TKB ....
