That was  my point.  GUI's can be nice, but sometimes you need to tweak
the file itself because your config is not like everyone else's.  I have
used the "sysinstall" utility on FreeBSD but often it is faster, easier
and/or more convenient to just edit /etc/rc.conf by hand using vi.
