I dunno, Firefox seems to have a few memory-leak problems (though this 
/might/ be the integrated JS VM rather than the browser proper), 
Google's Chrome is probably a giant security breach [Google matches the 
NSA in disregard for privacy], IE is generally Windows-only (they did 
stop IE for Mac, right?) and/or gets a bad rap.

IMO what's needed is a formally verified browser -- complete with any 
VMs. (But this entails a lot of work, and probably wold require 
development of formally-verified [library] components as well as the 
underlying tech [like the networking subsystem/interface].)
