Thanks. I should make it clear that when I talked about OpenOffice,
I used it as a generic term to describe all the various variants.

The reason I was thinking of moving is due to the printer driver
situation for current printers. (Which BTW is a good example of how
currently functioning software can stop functioning in the face of
new hardware developments.)
