[Info-vax] Another VMS-BASIC bug?

Okay, HP finally responded today (2014.09.16) but I suspect people here will find their response lacking. If "YOU" want these fixes for "YOUR" platform then "YOU" will need to request them from HP (or perhaps, VSI).

Here are the answers I received from engineering;

1) Do you know if/when this RTL will be released to the user community? (others have expressed interest)

Currently we do not have enough fixes in the BASIC RTL to plan a kit release.

2) Two years ago (Sept-2012) we asked for, and received, a bug fix to our BASIC compiler (QXCM1001232102: Modulo function throws arithmetic integer over flow error with quad value.) Was this a private fix only released to Bell Canada? I do not remember seeing it on your PATCH website.

This was a fix given only to Bell Canada. For BASIC compiler also, there are not enough fixes for a kit release.

Up until today, I naively assumed that broken software was immediately patched within the next quarter.
