RGB,
I would be careful about rolling in backups. The source of the problem is unknown, and the extent (or lack thereof) of the damage is indeterminate (In any event, I would strongly recommend preserving the damaged virtual volume for analysis).
As has been noted, it is possible to manually modify RIGHTSLIST, but I would want to make sure that the system is quiescent at that point.
