There might be some things a periodic reboot would do for you.

If there was a memory leak you're recover the memory.

If you're having any problems that a reboot might help.

Unless I have some reason, I do not reboot my systems.  Usually a power 
outage for longer than my batteries last causes a reboot.

Some reasons:

As others have suggested, modification of startup procedures.

VMS upgrade.

Moving the system.
