Don't confuse basic 2D graphics with hardware accelerated graphics.
Playing a high resolution video or other rich multimedia content could
be a problem on VMS, but your basic normal 2D website browsing should
not be.

Strongly agree. There may be a role on VMS for a basic browser for any
system management stuff but leave the hardware accelerated graphics
stuff for a more suitable platform.
