Help is  Esc [ 2 8 ~
   Do is  Esc [ 2 9 ~

You can add a key to iTerm 2 by going to Preferences\Profiles\Keys, 
clicking the "+" button, and pressing the key you want to add.

Limitations of iTerm 2 are described in previous discussions as pointed 
to by VAXman.
