Me either. I really never use the top row F keys since I have the
application keypad, editing keys, and arrow keys working, but for the
sake of completeness and because someone asked I was trying to figure
out how to get them working too.
It looks like simple definitions do work for F5, F6, and F13-F19, but
F1-F4 and F7-F12 are harder to separate from their Apple-specific
definitions. Some of them can be made to work while holding down the Fn
key, which made me realize that the Fn key itself (which would be Find
on an LK keyboard) also cannot be straightforwardly redefined.
Sometime it might be fun to muck around in the AppleSymbolicHotKeys
portion of the defaults system and see if there is a way to create
application-specific entries. But for now it's back to the day job.
