It's not really an accurate comparison of dealing with HP.

With adventure, the convoluted sequence of events actually allow you
to progress through the game and reach your final goal.

PS: BTW, when I comment out code in various languages, I tend to put
the language specific version of "#ifdef xyzzy" around it... :-)
