If that's the only thing going on then it should not be harmful.  But when I do 
a SHOW SYSTEM there seems to be some other tasks ....

Guess one size doesn't fit all ....

My question to all those who want to "do it themselves" is, why did the OS 
people bother to put in event notifications?
