Or adding floating point into DCL. But then this still tracks back
toward how much anybody really wants to deal with the DCL morass both
from the VSI end and from the existing pile of legacy DCL everywhere,
and whether stepping back, leaving DCL more or less alone save for
fixes, and replacing DCL with something that incorporates what we've
learned since the 1970s makes more sense. If there are conversion
tools and a plan for deprecation, all the better.
