Well you're talking about Windows. Miraculously everything else that runs on
Intel or AMD crapware on any motherboard you care to name (as long as it is
supported) from Solaris to OpenBSD, NetBSD, FreeBSD and Linux, ad nauseum,
all work perfectly fine without a driver disk from the mobo manufacturer.
Most of the plugin cards for NICs and Fiber will work with any server
architecture. That's what common busses are all about. You seldom need
special drivers for anything but Windows.
