Sure sounds like a perspective thing.  :-)

Not a micro-kernel.

Not "real" monolithic.  Not 100%.  As soon as you have some ACPs and 
such, it's not monolithic.  Maybe in large part.  But, is there such a 
thing as "partly pregnant"?

Why don't we just call it VMS and let it be?

Dave, who isn't totally sold on micro-kernels.
