In some cases, HP did not provide any ECOs for the product that would have rolled up all those fixes. [Paul isn't here today, but I'm surprised that he said CMS was like that since there have been "recent" ECOs for DECSET.]

I was under the impression that VMS 8.4-1H1 would be nothing else than
an adaptation to make it possible to run VMS on the i4. But now I
understand VSI also made small but important bug fixes on all kind of
layered products. Impressive! Dis you rebuild all layered products, even
if there were no changes in the sources?

I tried to find a description of the complete 8.4-1H1 release on the VSI
web site, but alas no luck. Will you be issuing Software Product
Descriptions? I always liked to read those, simple well structured and
precise documents. So much better than colourful marketing brochures
trying to describe a product and failing to do so accurately.
