The equivalent some folks are using: LTE via iOS hotspot may be viable 
for some locations, as LTE is comparatively fast for this area, and 
that's US$50 per month with a 5 GB data cap (AT&T), and an iOS device 
with LTE.   Seeing 10 Mbps locally isn't all that unusual, and 
variously faster.  Unfortunately, local data coverage — much less local 
LTE coverage — is spotty, at best.
