I set STANDARD_PROLOGUE=TRUE and removed the custom prologue code. 
Stack corruption is gone.  Other than that everything else is about the 
same.

With the full code, the floating return test is now working with the 
libffi shared image on Alpha.

EAGLE> mcr sys$disk:[]test_double_ret.exe
float return = 1.200000, 1.200000

Now I have to write tests for the other features.
