They could still be there and their leases would go with the building.

Other than people here, who would see historical value in one of over a
hundred computer companies that have failed in the past 3 decades?

I doubt you could find 5 people on the street who even know what DEC
means or who Digital was. (Trust me, I have asked people who work in
the business and those younger than me have no idea.)
