As an update, I did get another FAT diskette that had 2880 blocks.

However, as both above show 2 tracks per cylinder, I would assume that
both were double sided, but the 2880 block version was high density
whereas the smaller one was lower density.

Both has same number of cylinders and tracks, but the HD version could
stick more sectors per track.
