man (with less) has text-traversal capabilities, which means a reader 
can page forward and backward, and search.  Is man a great tool?  No.  
Is it better than OpenVMS HELP?  Yes.  Are the contents of various man 
pages awful?  Yes.  Are there better ways to do documentation than HELP 
or man?  Yes.
