Actually, there's a bit longer memory up in Ma. about Digital... or
DEC.
There's a lot of folks whose relatives worked there or at a DEC supplier or
reseller.
Now in NJ -- no one remembers them anymore.
We're going through the conversion of Bell Labs, Holmdel to a combination of
retirement housing, mixed commercial use and whatever. We're having the same
problems finding buyers for large office and industrial properties, since the
maintaining of large numbers of staffers has fallen out of fashion.
I was at IBM when they went from 13 bldgs in the Princeton, NJ area to
one and now zero.
