And don't forget that the scope of some of those other tools goes _way_
beyond the help style documentation provided by VMS help and even Unix man.

With info for example, you can read, and navigate, full blown manuals
with all the conceptual materials included and you can do this from
within the same terminal emulator environment help and man runs in.

The example I like to quote is the binutils linker manual which I have
read in detail; try reading the full VMS linker manual with any degree
of efficiency using just the VMS help interface.

One of the things I like about texinfo is it's ability to create multiple
output formats from same input source file. For example, you can generate
PDF, HTML, info and plain text from the same input source documentation.
