This should be the block address and block size of GPT.SYS, if you DUMP 
/HEADER the file.

Nope.    That caused your problem, too.   Unlike Alpha, the EFI boot 
alias — *always remove and always re-add those* — includes far more 
detail on the target device than "just" the boot device name, which 
means the checks will fail and thus the boot will fail.  Whenever 
you're shuffling disks or restoring disks or the rest — and things go 
sideways — *always remove and re-add the boot alias entries*.
