   In sales and profitability, UX was running circles around VMS.  So
   what basis do you use for the claim "VMS was kicking UX's ass"?

   A lot of us maight feel that VMS is technically superior, but HP
   had admitted that years prior to DEC's demise.  Several years before
   Alphacide.
