Or just SSH in and restart Telnet :) Point is, the Telnet server shouldn't have to be restarted for this stuff to work. Once we get a chance, of course, we'll restart - I'll post whether or not this works.

Yeah, I have tried all these scenarios with an AlphaVM instance; sadly, can't reproduce the problem except on the production Itanium server.
